“Street Dogs Belong Here Too” — Compassion, vaccination, and legal process—not cruelty in the name of removal.
Event Summary
KK Foundation organized a peaceful protest at Eco Garden against the forceful removal and mistreatment of community (street) dogs. Volunteers, animal lovers, and local citizens joined with posters and pledges to promote human–animal coexistence through ABC (Animal Birth Control), Anti-Rabies Vaccination (ARV), and community feeding zones.
- Participants: KK Foundation volunteers, residents, students, animal lovers
- Activities: Peaceful march, awareness posters, ABC/ARV leaflets, pledge – “We Choose Compassion”
Our Demands
- Accelerate ABC & Anti-Rabies Vaccination with transparent public data.
- Create dog-feeding zones in every ward with proper sanitation.
- Launch a helpline & rapid bite-management medical support.
- Strict legal action against cruelty or illegal relocation of community dogs.
- Regular awareness programs in schools and neighborhoods for coexistence.
